Wanted to share my outfit basics for spring and summer. While updating wardrobe with major trends, I also mixed some old but beloved items for my list of spring wardrobe essentials.
Recently my closet is full of the pale pink color – you can easily spot them from the pictures below. Like pink lipstick, lip gloss, bandana, blouse, shoes, etc. First, let’s start with the bandana. With bandanas trending across the street style, I couldn’t help but purchase this light neutral pink bandana from Madewell (it’s described as distressed stone color on the site). I can’t wait to get lots of wear out of this piece over the coming months. Next, the shoes. I’ve been hunting for pink-nude oxfords for awhile now and fell in love with Everlane’s modern oxford shoes when I saw them. They are made of quality leather with a sleek pointed toe. I can already call it that this pair of shoes will be on highly repeat this s/s and beyond. The perfect pink hue and minimal design of these oxfords are just everything I had anticipated. In addition to my pink obsession, I also got this light pink gingham ruffle blouse lately. I love how delicate the color and ruffles are. Normally ruffles are too girly and frilly to me, but pairing this blouse with a pair of jeans is a nice way to balance out the feminine ruffles.

Then, straw bags. Woven straw texture, rattan design and linen fabric are perfect for spring and summer. I must admit, even though I adore my Cambridge Satchel collection very much, I think a straw bag is simply a must for summer vacation. Moreover, a piece of light dress is a wardrobe staple for the warm weather. This stripe shirt dress that I got from Asos last year is still one of my favorite buys. I like the classic stripe, breathable material, and the pretty silhouette. Lastly, the metallic color is a nice addition for your spring and summer wardrobe. The cool color of metallic silver just makes a nice visual antidote to summer heat waves.
