Jenny Walton captured the attention of street style photographers with her elegance and unique fashion sense. I really admire Jenny Walton’s ability to create effortless and classic styles.
Jenny Walton Style Breakdown
“I like my neck and jawline, so I love pulling my hair back and wearing big earrings. For me, I know that’s a part of my body I like, so I choose to highlight it, and it makes me feel great.” – by Jenny Walton
Graduated from Parsons School of Design and interned at DVF and Banana Republic, Jenny Walton currently works as a fashion director at street style fashion blog The Sartorialist and a freelance illustrator. Her extensive background in fashion industry gave her insights to personal style. Jenny’s experience in artistic drawings also shines through her wardrobe aesthetic. She chooses to accentuate what looks great on her with all-back hairstyle and statement earrings. During an interview, she mentioned “I like my neck and jawline, so I love pulling my hair back and wearing big earrings. For me, I know that’s a part of my body I like, so I choose to highlight it, and it makes me feel great.” The longer earrings draw attention to the space between jawline and shoulders which are her favorite parts of her body. Knowing and choosing what looks flatter you the most is the key to great personal style and fashion.
Jenny Walton Street Style
Inspired by old movies and vintage clothing, Jenny Walton brings out her inner Audrey Hepuburn to modern days with fitted button-front blouse, slim crop top, feminine skirt and unique vintage finds. Her signature classic style is a combination of vintage and new from both high street fashion and designer brands. I love how she builds her effortless and elegant style around her favorite pieces and restyles them over and over again. Instead of showing off a piece once and getting rid of it immediately during fashion week like other fashion bloggers or street style celebrities do, she repeated statement items a lot for versatility. She is definitely not afraid of wearing the same pieces. Her skill at restyling in different ways each time is really inspiring – like how she wore her famous pleated skirts in metallic silver, gold and emerald green below.
